Speaking &
Professional Training
Behavior is not the starting point.
When behavior doesn’t make sense, it is often because something deeper is being missed. I help professionals understand what is happening beneath behavior so they can respond with greater clarity, confidence, and effectiveness.
Participants leave with practical insights they can apply immediately in their work.
Professional Education & Training
Professionals are often asked to respond to behavior without a clear understanding of what is driving it. This can lead to strategies that feel inconsistent, ineffective, or difficult to sustain.
My work focuses on helping teams understand behavior through a body-first lens, connecting interoception, regulation, and executive function to what is happening in real time.
This creates clearer clinical reasoning and supports more effective, practical, and meaningful intervention across settings.
Areas of Focus
Training is grounded in a body-first approach and designed to support real-world application across settings:
💗Interoception and internal body awareness
💗Regulation and nervous system support
💗Clinical reasoning across home, school, and therapy settings
💗Executive function development
💗Sensory Processing & Participation
💗Neuro-affirming, strengths-based approaches

A Body-First Perspective
Behavior is a reflection of underlying body-based processes.
My work helps professionals understand what a child may be experiencing by looking beyond behavior and toward the body.
Using a “roots to fruit” perspective, I guide teams in identifying the underlying systems that support access, regulation, and participation.
By supporting interoception, sensory foundations, and relational context, professionals can better align their responses with a child’s needs, leading to more effective, respectful, and sustainable support.
Bring This Work to Your Team
If your team is ready to move beyond behavior-based approaches and develop a deeper understanding of regulation, interoception, and executive function, I would be glad to work with you.
